Here at Run-N-Ridge we run the breed rescue for ACR/HPA for the breeds of Giant Schnauzers,
Schnauzers, Miniature Pinschers and Harlequin Pinschers.  The program is funded in part by
ACR/HPA.  We provide shelter, feed, water and often times transportation to help out dogs in
these breeds.  We take unwanted, abused and neglected animals in and show them the love they
often times have never known.  We will take dogs that are in desperate need of being re-homed
as well.  Our first priority is to help dogs get put in better situations and to find them stable
forever homes.    While we are limited to the number we can house at one time we try very hard
to never have to turn a dog away.    We are not the animal police and we do not confiscate animals
nor do we go out and raid kennels or investigate animal cruelty allegations.   We take in willingly
surrendered animals and find them new homes.
Most of the animals we have in rescue will be checked out by a Veterinarian prior to being re-homed.
Some may still need ongoing treatment or vaccinations.  We will disclose everything we know about the animal so the
person(s) interested can make an informed decision if the animal they are interested in will fit in with their lifestyle or
financial budget.
